First bounded area delivered; from there, the rest of the plant is planned in phases.

What was done
The plant documentation was filed on paper and digitised as images. Nobody could confirm which equipment was still installed or in what condition, and finding a piece of data meant opening folder after folder.
A3D first surveyed a bounded, low-risk area and modelled it in full: point cloud, P&IDs checked against the real installation and the area’s documentation linked to the model.
From the 3D model, one click on a valve in that area opens its technical data sheet, and its documentation is consulted from the model itself. Extension to the rest of the plant is planned in phases, each decided on what the previous one demonstrated.

“We have started with a single area, with the plant in operation, and from there the model grows in phases: each extension is decided on what the previous one has already demonstrated.”

Does your plant look like this one?
Each project started with a measured area: a bounded scan, a model of the real condition and a decision based on data. If you have an intervention ahead, it is bounded, measured and validated.
