This is a key aspect considering the significance and high cost of <strong>facilities<\/strong> in this industry. <\/p>\n\n<p>For example, in a <a href=\"https:\/\/a3d.es\/en\/pharma\/\"><strong>pharmaceutical<\/strong> <strong>building<\/strong><\/a> the space between the slab and the <strong>facilities<\/strong> may be the equivalent of a floor with extremely complex layouts. For example, steam pipes need a specific slope that you can include in your <strong>BIM model<\/strong>, checking that this slope is continuous and does not encroach on any other pipes.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verify accessibility<\/h3>\n\n<p>In a <strong>pharma building<\/strong> it is crucial to ensure <strong>accessibility<\/strong> to specific <strong>facility<\/strong> components. <strong>BIM<\/strong> for the <strong>facilities<\/strong> allows you to pre-design these components, such as the safety walkways, which are essential for building maintenance. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Facility validation<\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>BIM<\/strong> for the <strong>facilities<\/strong> of a <strong>pharma building<\/strong> not only allows you to preview them in 3D. You can also validate them using Navisworks or other <strong>clash control<\/strong> packages. However, expertise in <strong>BIM tools<\/strong> alone will not be enough to ensure good <strong>facility<\/strong> <strong>coordination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>A <strong>pharmaceutical building\u2019s<\/strong> <strong>facilities<\/strong> operate in a similar way to the blood supply in our body. So it is essential to be aware of and understand what the <strong>main facilities\u2019<\/strong> highways are, from which the rest of the piping runs.
