The Assignment<\/strong><\/p>

This\u00a0<\/span>WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant)<\/strong>, located in the municipality of Santa Maria Palautordera in Barcelona, is responsible for treating wastewater from the municipalities of Santa Maria Palautordera and Sant Esteve de Palautordera. <\/span><\/p>

The assignment is one of the first wastewater treatment plants that the <\/span>Consorci Bes\u00f2s Tordera\u00a0<\/strong>has decided to digitize in\u00a0<\/span>BIM\u00a0<\/strong>as part of a global\u00a0<\/span>digitalization strategy\u00a0<\/strong>for its assets.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

BIM Project:<\/b><\/p>\n

The BIM digitization<\/b> process<\/span> is the one we usually do: we start with a<\/span> laser scan<\/b> using a<\/span> point cloud<\/b> to later carry out the<\/span> BIM modeling<\/b> of the equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n

The assignment was not limited to modeling the current state of the WWTP. It was necessary to gather all the information from the point cloud, the basic diagrams of the plant, and first-hand information from the people who operate the plant. <\/span><\/p>\n

The project incluides a process of <\/span>codes assigning <\/b>and <\/span>parameterizing <\/b>the elements so that they connect properly with the installation databases, key to using the model for operations and maintenance of the station.. <\/span><\/p>\n

Once completed, the<\/span> BIM model<\/b> of the<\/span> Palautordera WWTP<\/b> has served as the basis for the<\/span> digital twins<\/b> that the Consorci Bes\u00f2s Tordera<\/b> is preparing<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
